13.5.8. Removal and installation / adjustment of a cowl

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open a cowl
  2. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

  1. Disconnect a hose and disunite the windscreen washer jet socket.
  2. For a possibility of the subsequent installation mark the provision of a cowl.
  3. Ask the assistant to take a cowl (1). The small screw-driver raise a lock spring (arrow) a little. Disconnect a gas-filled emphasis (5) from the top spherical support.
  4. Turn off two nuts (4) Leva and on the right and remove a cowl together with the assistant.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a cowl together with the assistant on a loop (2). Adjust the provision of a cowl on earlier put tag.
  2. Establish and record a gas-filled emphasis on a spherical support.
  3. Close a cowl and expose it, observing gaps, see below.
  4. Tighten nuts (4) the moment of 21 Nanometer.
  5. Installation is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal.
  6. Attach a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

Check/adjustment

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check gaps on a cowl contour. Gaps have to be uniform on all perimeter of a prileganiye to body elements.

    And — 5.5 ± 0.5 mm
    In — 5.5 ± 0.5 mm
    With — 3.5 ± 0.5 mm
    D — 4.0 ± 0.5 mm
    Е — 1.5 ± 0.5 mm
    F — 1.5 ± 0.5 mm
    G — 2.5 ± 0.5 mm

  1. Weaken a nut (4) a little, address an illustration at the beginning of the section.
  1. Close a cowl and expose it on wings. Adjust the provision of a cowl.
  2. Carefully open the exposed cowl not to shift it.
  3. Tighten nuts of fastening of loops the moment of 21 Nanometer.
  1. Weaken 4 bolts of fastening so that it was possible to displace the lock (1).
  1. Adjust a cowl by lock shift on height. Tighten bolts of fastening of the lock the moment of 14 Nanometers.
  1. Adjust the provision of a cowl on height in relation to wings. For this purpose screw a forward emphasis (1) and (2) at a cowl. By a reversing of an emphasis adjust cowl height in relation to wings. Put a little plasticine between a cowl and wings and check whether has an emphasis at the closed cowl contact with the forward panel. An emphasis at the closed cowl has to adjoin to the forward panel.

Utilization of a gas-filled emphasis

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

If the gas-filled emphasis is replaced, it is necessary to produce gas from an old emphasis.

  1. For this purpose clamp an emphasis in a vice in the area designated on an accompanying illustration (x = 50 mm).

Clamp an emphasis surely only and the specified area, otherwise there is a danger of accident! Then you nadpilit the cylinder at distance of one third of total length of a basic mark from a rod. For protection against emission of oil cover the region of a cut with a rag. Besides, in time a pileniye use goggles.
