14:18. Removal and installation of the control panel

Light-emitting diodes (LED) are installed in the control panel as control lamps only. At damage of a light-emitting diode and any other damages to the control panel it is replaced in a set.

If instead of the index of a day distance in kilometers the dEF indicator is highlighted, then malfunction is available in memory. In this case the control panel is also replaced in a set.

The reception antenna of the clock radios installed in the control panel is placed on the holder of a rear bumper.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If the control panel has to be replaced, it is necessary to consider data from memory of malfunctions. Besides, by means of the diagnostic unit it is necessary to consider data of the indicator of term of service and the indication of the counter of a run and to write down them (work HUNDRED).
  2. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

  1. Uncover the control panel, address the Section Removal and installation of a cover on the control panel.

Surely observe instructions on security measures at the address with a safety cushion, address the Section General information and security measures.

  1. Remove the safety cushion block on a steering wheel, address the Section Removal and installation of the block of a safety cushion.
  2. Completely extend a steering wheel by means of the device for adjustment of its situation and lower a wheel down.
  3. Remove a steering wheel, address the Section Removal and installation of a steering wheel.
  1. Turn out screws (arrows on an accompanying illustration).
  1. Extend the control panel by means of a hook of AUDI 3370 or HAZET 2520-1 from the control panel back.
  1. Shift the lock lever from a reverse side and disunite the socket. Take out the control panel.

Installation

  1. Installation is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal.

Surely observe instructions on security measures at the address with a safety cushion, address the Section General information and security measures.

  1. Establish into place a steering wheel and the block of a safety cushion, address the Sections Removal and installation of the block of a safety cushion and Removal and installation of the block of a safety cushion.
  2. Attach a negative cable of the rechargeable battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

  1. Include ignition and check work of control lamps, and also indicators on the control panel.
  2. Consider by means of the diagnostic unit data of the indicator of term of approach THAT and indications of the counter of a run (work HUNDRED).
