14:10. Relay and safety locks

Most of consumers of the electric power of the car is protected by fuses. Separate components of system of lighting, except for braking signal lamps, are protected by electronic relays.

At course of too strong current electronic interruption of an electric chain of the protected components is made. Through short time the electric chain automatically again becomes isolated at repeated emergence of malfunction the electric chain is interrupted again.

Use fuses with the required current face value.

Do not repair the fused fuses and do not shunt a crossing point.

Establish the burn-out reason.

Replacement of the relay

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Relays are in the dashboard from the driver.

  1. Remove a pocket from the driver, address the Section Removal and installation of a pocket from the driver.
  2. Take out the damaged relay by means of special nippers, for example, of HAZET 4770-1.
  3. Check operability of the relay and, if necessary, replace it with new, address appropriate section.
  4. Install the relay on a payment.
  5. Establish into place the driver's pocket, address the Section Removal and installation of a pocket from the driver.

Replacement of safety locks

For protection of wires of electric equipment and consumers against damage at short circuit and an overload electric chains have safety locks.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before replacement of a safety lock it is necessary to switch off surely ignition and all consumers.
  2. Safety locks are in blocks of safety locks on the left side of the dashboard, behind a cover (address an illustration in Specifications).
  3. Open a cover for what insert the screw-driver the flat party from below behind a cover (shooter) and wring out a cover.
  4. The arrangement of safety locks is presented on a reverse side of a cover of the block of safety locks.

The arrangement of safety locks depends on the equipment and year of release of the car. Besides, there is also a krivoshipny handle for emergency closing of the shifted roof panel.

At repeated burn-out of a safety lock check electric equipment chains.
