Removal of a front seat with a side safety cushion requires the AUDI VAS adapter 6036. |

- Seat with adjustment of height: Lift a seat.
|
- Pull upward a cover (2) over a tip (1) of a belt at a seat and remove.
|
|
- Press a tip of a belt (1) (arrow) down and disconnect from a seat. Extend a seat belt from a belt guide at a seat.
|
- Shift a front seat (4) forward.
|
|
- Extend 4 clips (2) and remove back safety covers (1).
- Shift a front seat back, extend 2 clips and remove forward covers of guides.
- Turn out 2 screws (3) behind and in front.
- To exclude operation a head safety cushion, switch off ignition and disconnect at first negative, and then positive cables of the rechargeable battery. Instructions are provided in the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

- Cast away a front seat (4) back and uncover upward (5) boxes for plugs.

Before undocking of the socket of a side safety cushion remove an electrostatic charge for what quickly concern the lock of a door or a body. The adapter of a safety cushion has to remain attached until the seat is not established again. Surely observe security measures at the address with a safety cushion, address the Section General information and security measures. |

- Press a pad at the plug and disunite the socket of a side safety cushion (orange color) (6).
- Disunite the socket of giving of food (red color) (7), heating of a seat (8) (green color) and a seat belt (black color) (9) if they are available.
- Attach the plug side a safety cushion (orange color) (6) to VAS 6036 safety cushion adapter.

The adapter provides additional protection against an electrostatic charge. |

- If it is possible, attach other end of the adapter of a safety cushion to the plug of giving of food (red color) (7).
- Take out a front seat.
