4.8.4. Removal and installation of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units

Before removal of a maple belt mark with chalk or a felt-tip pen the direction of rotation on a belt. Change of the direction of rotation of the belt which was in work can lead to its gap. At installation of a belt pay attention to its correct situation on pulleys.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the forward panel in situation for carrying out servicing, address the Section Installation of the Forward Panel in situation for maintenance.
  1. Unscrew the fan with the viscous coupling a wrench on 22 mm, at the same time the second key hold a nave.
  1. Take out from holders an engine cover up.
  1. Uncover forward left and right a gear belt.
  1. Unscrew screws of fastening of a cover of a maple belt (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) and take out it.

  1. Unscrew screws of fastening of a support (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) and take out it.
  1. Uncover a tension roller of the compressor and turn off a bolt of fastening of a tension roller (the shooter on an accompanying illustration).
  1. Take off maple a compressor drive belt.
 
  1. Turn a face key the tension device in the direction of an arrow on an accompanying illustration so that lock openings were one above another. In this situation insert the AUDI-T10060 tool or a suitable mandrel (Ø of 4 mm) into openings, having fixed thus the tension device.
  1. Take off maple a belt.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put on maple a belt at first a pulley of a bent shaft (1) and the directing rollers (4/6) and then a tension roller (7).


    2. 1 — the Bent shaft
    2 — the Pump of the hydraulic booster
    3 — the Fan with the viscous coupling
    4 — the Directing roller 1
    5 — the Generator
    6 — the Directing roller 2
    7 — the Tension roller

  1. Turn a tension roller a face key counterclockwise a little, take out a lock finger and take away a tension roller back.
 
  1. Put on maple a belt a compressor pulley.
 
  1. Establish a dynamometer key (C) with a face key on 8 mm, as shown in an accompanying illustration, and pull maple a belt in the direction of an arrow the moment of 7 Nanometers.
  1. In this situation tighten a bolt (A) a dynamometer key the moment of 22 Nanometers.
  2. Establish a cover of a tension roller.
  3. Fix the fan with the viscous coupling, holding the second wrench a nave.
  4. Start the engine and visually check the belt course.
  5. Establish the holder of the lock, address the Section Installation of the Forward Panel in situation for maintenance.
