6.1.6. Removal and installation of the air filter

For holding a procedure on petrol engines address illustrations:

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top cover of the engine and the damper of fluctuations which is under it, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the lower protection of a motive compartment / stretcher.
  1. Turn out screws (arrows on an accompanying illustration).
  1. Take out an air duct (1) and (2).
  1. Disunite the socket (1) of the measuring instrument of mass of air.
  1. Disconnect a hose of air supply (2), previously having opened a collar.
  1. Take aside a plait of wires at the case of the air filter and take out the filter case (the shooter on an accompanying illustration).

Installation

  1. Installation is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top cover of the engine, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the lower protection of a motive compartment / stretcher.
  1. Remove the channel of absorption of air (1) to the air filter.
  1. Uncover (2) air filters.
  1. Disunite the socket (1).
  1. Release a collar (2).
  2. Disconnect a hose (3) from the case of the air filter.
  3. Turn out the screw (4) and take out the case of the air filter.

Installation

  1. Installation is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal.
