10.2.3. Dismantling of a power shaft and replacement of a protective cover

Depending on an engine/check point combination the internal hinge is executed as the hinge of equal angular speeds or the Tripode hinge. The Tripode hinge has instead of 6 balls 3 rollers which are displaced on a corner 120 ° in relation to each other and are located on a star of "Tripode".

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a shaft, address the Section Removal and installation of a power shaft.
  2. Clamp a shaft through protective slips in a vice.
  3. Remove collars and shift a protective cover back.
  1. Screw press the screw (3207) from a guide for M14/M16 carving in a hinge pin so that to remove the hinge from a shaft.
  1. Remove a lock ring.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put on a cover a shaft.

On a shaft lubricants should not take a cover and place of its landing.

  1. Establish a new lock ring.
  2. Enter 50 g of lubricant into an internal part of the hinge.
  1. Screw in the hinge the screw which was earlier in work, as shown in an accompanying illustration.
  1. Napressuyte the hinge by means of the plastic hammer on a shaft so that the lock ring was recorded.
  2. Turn out the old screw.
  3. Enter into the hinge 40 g of lubricant from a cover.
  1. Grease the external hinge.

Observe assigned amount of lubricant, address Specifications.

The cover at its putting on on the hinge case often contracts. At the same time in the hinge there is a discharge which leads to cave-in of a cover (the shooter on an accompanying illustration). Therefore at installation of a cover by means of the screw-driver on small diameter fill the hinge with air so that to provide alignment of pressure.

  1. By means of special pincers, for example, of HAZET 1847-1 squeeze collars on big and small diameters of the hinge.

Cover from plastic

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Squeeze collars on big and small diameters.
  1. External hinge: It is necessary to apply the special pincers of HAZET 1847 shown on an illustration to a clip of collars (the alloyed steel), otherwise the necessary force of compression is not reached. Pincers need to be established, as shown in an illustration. Working edges of pincers have to be in corners (In). In this situation the screw (A) drags on the moment of 20 Nanometers. The collar clip on small diameter is carried out similarly.

The carving of the tightening screw of pincers has to have the easy course, otherwise it needs to be greased with MoS2 lubricant previously. If the carving has the heavy course, for example, owing to pollution the necessary moment of tightening of the screw is not reached.

Internal hinge of equal angular speeds

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Uncover by means of the corresponding drift.
  1. Remove a lock ring.
  1. Remove lubricant from the hinge and mark position of the hinge concerning a shaft.
  1. Clamp a shaft for the hinge in a vice, as shown in an accompanying illustration.
  1. The assistant has to hold a shaft horizontally not to damage it.
  2. By means of a small flat chisel slightly turn in an edge of a cover (shooter).
  3. Establish a cover into place by means of the corresponding mandrel.
  1. Press the hinge from a shaft.
  1. Remove a cover with a cover.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Apply lubricant on a pure surface of inside of a cover (the shaded surface on an accompanying illustration). Put the roller from sealant 2-3 mm wide around openings from the inside. HUNDRED AUDIS apply for this purpose A2 sealant D 454 300.

The shaft, cover and adjacent surface should not have lubricants.

  1. Put on a shaft a new cover with a cover.
  2. Enter 85 g of lubricant into a cover.
  1. Fix the hinge by an adhesive tape (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) that it did not break up.
  1. Napressuyte the hinge against the stop on the corresponding press. HUNDRED AUDIS use for this purpose the special tool shown on an illustration.

Establish a hinge nave by a facet on the internal diameter (vent) on the hinge. The tool 40-204 A and the surface of interface on a shaft should not have lubricants.

  1. Establish a new lock ring.
  2. Enter 35 g of lubricant through paths for balls into the hinge.
  1. Expose by means of screws (arrow) a cover with a cover in relation to openings.

It is necessary to expose very precisely since after assembly it cannot be made.

  1. Establish into place a cover with a cover by means of the plastic hammer.
  2. At once eliminate the acted lubricant.
  1. Expose a new cover with screws (arrow) in relation to openings under bolts.

It is necessary to expose very precisely since after assembly it cannot be made.

  1. Establish into place a cover with a cover by means of the plastic hammer.
  2. At once eliminate the acted lubricant.
  3. Establish into place a power shaft, address appropriate section.
